Sharpie Tie Dye Project

Well, it's summer, and that means keeping the kids busy! You've gotta' love Pinterest for it's virtually infinite trove of project ideas.  Here's one that L had fun doing....Sharpie Tie Dye.


All it takes is an item of your choice, several colors of sharpies, and some rubbing alcohol.  L chose to do a Tshirt this time around.


Put the area you want to color on top of a solo cup and rubber band it for stability.  This just keeps the sharpie from bleeding through to the other parts of your shirt.


Draw a circle, or flower, or whatever suits your fancy.

Then, using an eye dropper, drop the rubbing alcohol over your design and watch it spread.
